PatientLink is the first application to directly interface patient-entered data with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• It uses Optical Mark Reader (OMR) technology allowing patients to answer questions before entering the exam room and have the answers imported directly into the EMR.

• Responses to the questions will be in the patient's chart before the patient enters the exam room.

• Nurses and physicians can now focus on the responses instead of spending time asking the questions and inputting the answers into the computer.
